Verix Optima

Verix Optima 3000 is a handy, flexible expanded (EPS) and extruded (XPS) polystyrene cutting machine, with a modern design using a heated wire system. It has two arms, one at each side. It gives the possibility to form the boards in all oblique, lateral and diagonal cuts, while the framing of joint or beveled edge on the panels is easy, fast and accurate. Furthermore, special parts such as the creation of molds for concreting, can also be configured, offering exceptional flexibility and endless constructing possibilities to the work crews.

Verix optima straight cuts -insulation panel cut
  1. Adjust the angle of the handle and of both sides at 0 degrees.
  2. Mark the desired cut line on the polystyrene board.
  3. Lift the handle and place the polystyrene board on the base.
  4. Use the auxiliary arm to place the material on the cutting point.
  5. Press the button and keep it pressed.
  6. Push the handle towards the material to cut it.
  7. Release the button and the heated wire will cool after a few seconds.

  1. Adjust the desired angle of the handle and of both sides at 0 degrees.
  2. Mark the desired cut line on the polystyrene board.
  3. Lift the handle and place the polystyrene board on the base.
  4. Press the button and keep it pressed (the wire is heated).
  5. Push the handle towards the material to cut it.
  6. When you reach the desired stage depth, move the material to the left until the cutting process is completed.
  7. Release the button and the heated wire will cool after a few seconds.

  6. When you reach the desired stage depth, move the material to the right.
  7. After you reach the desired bevel width, lift the handle.
  8. Release the button and the heated wire will cool after a few seconds.

  2. Adjust the desired angle according to the reference angle
  3. Lift the handle and place the polystyrene board on the base.
  4. Place the material on the ruler.
  5. Press the button and keep it pressed.
  6. Press the handle towards the material in order to cut it.
  7. Release the button and the heated wire will cool after a few seconds.

 

 

Verix Optima bears two arms, one on each side. The left supporting arm allows for adjustment of the angles ranging between 0o and 45o, while the right arm – ruler has length measurement indications with a special metal stop. The handle on which the wire is attached can be rotated transversely to the previous direction of rotation with a torsion angle range from 0o to 55o. The device operates with a low voltage adapter (30V) connected to a 220V power supply. The adapter is connected to an XLR wire with a handle (bow). The wire is heated by pressing the button located on the center of the handle. It is noted that the boards to be cut should be clean of glue, adhesives residues or other contaminants.
